Spring New Student Registration

Once you’ve accepted your offer of admission, it’s time to schedule an appointment with your advisor and register for classes!


Using the list below, contact the academic advisor of the college and department to which you’ve been admitted. You’ll provide your full name and University Identification Number (UIN) when making your appointment.

You can meet with your advisor beginning November 1. However, you won't be able to register for classes until after November 20. Note that if you’re in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences or the College of Media, your academic advisor will contact you instead.

You'll register for classes during an on-campus orientation program on Thursday, January 10. Lasting from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., this program is required for all incoming spring transfer students. A detailed agenda will be emailed to you closer to the date. If you have any questions, email the College of Engineering or call them at 217-333-2280.

Your academic advisor will contact you to set up an appointment. General questions or concerns can be sent to the LAS Student Academic Affairs Office (217-333-1705).

Your academic advisor will contact you to set up an appointment in mid- to late November. If you don’t receive an email from an advisor by November 16, contact the Media Student Services Center at 217-244-4329.
