Spring Registration

Once you've accepted your offer of admission, it's time to schedule an appointment with your advisor and register for classes!

Colleges

Using the list below, contact the academic advisor of the college and department to which you've been admitted. You'll provide your full name and University Identification Number (UIN) when making your appointment.

You can meet with your advisor beginning November 1. However, you won't be able to register for classes until after November 18. Note that if you're in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, the College of Media, the Grainger College of Engineering, or the School of Information Sciences, your academic advisor will contact you instead.

Students admitted to the Early Childhood Education Professional Education (online) should email Anne Pradzinski to schedule an advising appointment.

College of Liberal Arts & Sciences

Your academic advisor will contact you to set up an appointment as soon as possible. Please give them additional time to finish appointments with continuing and returning students. If you have general questions or concerns email the LAS New Student Advising Office or call 217-333-1705.

College of Media

Your academic advisor will contact you to set up an appointment in late November or early December. Please watch your spam/junk folders for this email. If you don't believe you've received an email from an advisor by December 9, email the Media Student Services Center or call 217-244-4329.

Division of Exploratory Studies

Students should call 217-333-4710 and ask for Lauren Murray to schedule an advising appointment. Appointments will take place in January.

Gies College of Business

To schedule your advising appointment, please email Corey Thoss, Director of Academic Affairs.

Grainger College of Engineering

Your advisor will contact you to set up an advising appointment. Appointments may occur through Friday, January 17. Your patience is appreciated! For general questions or if you haven't received an email from your advisor by January 13, please email The Grainger First-Year Experience.

School of Information Sciences

Your academic advisor will contact you to set up an appointment as soon as possible. If you have questions in the meantime or have not received an email by the end of December, please email the School of Information Sciences or call 217-333-2591.
