If you haven't already, register now! You'll build your own schedule for the day by signing up individually for all the events you're interested in, from sessions with your new college to campus tours and so much more.
After you register, you'll receive a confirmation email with a link to your personalized schedule for the day. This will include all the events you've signed up for. We'll also email you your schedule the morning of your visit so it's fresh in your inbox!
When you arrive on campus, you can go directly to the first event on your schedule. This is where you'll check in. Check-in times vary depending on the event, but most will be available 15 to 30 minutes before the event begins.
If you find yourself with downtime during the day, check out our list of open events. These events don't require registration in order to attend!
If you plan to drive, I-72, I-74, and I-57 all lead directly to Champaign-Urbana. You can also arrive by train or bus at the Illinois Terminal, which is two miles away from campus, or you can fly to Champaign's Willard Airport, which is five miles away from campus.
You can find parking options near your first event location using our campus map. For all campus parking options, view our parking map. Please be aware that street parking is not free on weekends. Make sure to check lot and meter signage to ensure you won't be ticketed; you can download the MobileMeter app to make easy payments at campus meters.
Many campus parking lots are free on weekends. If you choose to park in one of these lots, you'll likely need to either walk or bus to IlliniFest locations. Lots B1, B4, D9, and C09 are all within a ten-minute walk from the Illini Union.
If parking in a lot from which you'd like to bus to an IlliniFest location, the MTD trip planner can help you map your route. You'll need to enter your lot as the starting point -- i.e. "F29" -- and the location of your first event as the destination to receive detailed travel information. Lots F23, F29, and B17 all have close bus access to many IlliniFest locations.
This hotel sits in the heart of campus, offering beautiful Quad views, free parking, and complimentary breakfast vouchers. To reserve a room, visit their website or call 217-333-1241.
