Illinois Residents

James Hunter Anthony & Gerald E. Blackshear Endowment

  • Requirements: Incoming first-year students who have graduated from an Illinois high school
  • Amount: Equal to full tuition and fees for an academic year
  • Renewable: Yes, for 4 years, provided you maintain a 3.0 GPA
  • Number: Variable

Matthews Scholars

  • Requirements: Incoming first-year students
  • Amount: $2,000 per year
  • Renewable: Yes, for 4 years, provided you maintain a 3.0 GPA
  • Number: Variable

Native American Peoria Tribe Scholarship

  • Requirements: Members of the Peoria Tribe of Indians of Oklahoma (connected historically with the state of Illinois) who have filed a 2022-2023 FAFSA
  • Amount: Covers the remaining cost of tuition, campus fees, and room/board allowance not covered by other federal, state, institutional and private awards, including Federal Pell Grant and the State of Illinois Monetary Award Program (MAP) Grant

President's Award Program

  • Requirements: Students in historically underrepresented groups who have demonstrated outstanding academic achievement
  • Amount: $5,000

  • Requirements: Students who are selected as President’s Award recipients with the highest level of achievement
  • Amount: $10,000

  • Requirements: Incoming first-year students
  • Amount: Full tuition

Stamps Scholarship

  • Requirements: Incoming first-year students
  • Amount: Up to the cost of attendance
  • Renewable: Yes, for 4 years, provided the recipient maintains a 3.0 GPA

Transfer Scholarship

  • Requirements: High-achieving, first-generation students with 30+ transferable graded hours and demonstrated financial need who are transferring from an Illinois community college
  • Amount: $2,000

Non-Residents

Illinois Achievement Scholarship

  • Requirements: Incoming non-resident first-year students with demonstrated financial need
  • Amount: Up to $10,000 (tuition-restricted)
  • Renewable: Yes, for 4 years, provided you maintain a 3.0 GPA and full-time status and are assessed non-resident tuition
  • Number: Variable
