Illinois Residents

James Hunter Anthony & Gerald E. Blackshear Endowment

  • Requirements: Incoming first-year students who have graduated from an Illinois high school
  • Amount: Equal to full tuition and fees for an academic year
  • Renewable: Yes, for 4 years, provided you maintain a 3.0 GPA and continuous full-time enrollment
  • Number: Variable

Matthews Scholars

  • Requirements: Incoming first-year students
  • Amount: $2,000 per year

Native American Scholarship - Peoria Tribe Scholarship

  • Requirements: Members of the Peoria Tribe of Indians of Oklahoma (connected historically with the state of Illinois) who have filed a 2024-2025 FAFSA
  • Amount: Covers the remaining cost of tuition, campus fees, and room/board allowance not covered by other federal, state, institutional, and private awards, including Federal Pell Grant and the State of Illinois Monetary Award Program (MAP) Grant

  • Requirements: High-achieving, first-generation students with 30+ transferable graded hours and demonstrated financial need who are transferring from an Illinois community college
